This is the tone I have been looking for, for a very long time.

Man, that custom Corvinho sounded PERFECT! They had an original Telecaster in the studio, that I used on a couple of tracks, and you can't even tell the difference between the bridge pickup on it and the Corvinho. It's just got built-in classic tone. That's very hard to get from a new instrument.

Hey man, I was playing that 6-string Blues Plank today, and I couldn't help but just look at it and hold it in my hands, and admire it for how unique and special it is as an instrument, and to me personally. I love all the guitars I have, but there is something about that 6-string Blues Plank that is like that friend who you know will listen to you, and understand exactly what you mean!

What I love about the Raven is it puts my other dual humbucker guitars to shame in terms of tone. These pickups will do anything from clean chimey tones all the way through fat and thick tones without ever losing the clarity. Visually it has an actual handmade vibe going on too and being made in Australia -- I dig it!

Hi Dave and Viv just to let you know the JJ NT6 Blues Plank arrived safe and sound and I could not have wished for a better finished guitar to mark my 50th, it has refinement in every detail from the timber grain in the body, amazing neck profile and fret board to die for. The split humbucker is as cool as ice on a polar bear's bum, I keep changing my mind which I prefer, single or double coil as both lend themselves to different sounds you search for. The action is perfect. I even tried some slide last night and found it so smooth to glide my Justin Johnson ceramic slide over the strings. Thank you both for you great service, I will always care for what you have made.

It's very light weight and has good tone to it also. That that Australian wood quality -- makes the magic ring out. Just love this piece.

Hey Dave, I'm loving the Corvinho. It has a wonderful feel and sounds quite amazing. I just restrung it the other day and it shines with a new set of strings on it. I do hope you guys do well, it's an amazing product.

Out of the box, Dave and Viv Street made a beautiful and perfectly set up instrument. If you are in the market for a custom hand made guitar, check out Little Crow.

This is the funkiest bass guitar I have ever played! It has a pop and snap to the tone that is very hard to get from a bass, and the bass itself is the lightest and easiest to play bass I have ever played. The P bass pickup sounds powerful, but really clean and clear.

More Comments from Little Crow owners:

  • The Thunder Rook arrived late last week. Very impressed from the moment I opened the box. Despite its small and light weight body it’s well balanced and comfortable to play. The figure on fingerboard is a nice touch. Very comfortable to strap on and play for hours and sound wise – can squeeze an amazing array of tones out of the single pickup even with flats fitted. I can easily get Beatles and Stones type tones. My band mates love the look of it – very unique in their eyes. Whilst it draws from Dan Armstrong it also has a Gibson Grabber vibe going on. All in all a very cool bass. (Third guitar bought from Little Crow). < Paul Rickert > < Australia > < Thunder Rook bass >

  • Just a quick note to say thanks for the build. It came much quicker than I anticipated, nicely packed and zero damage. Action is great and you are correct — sounds sweet! I’m no Justin Johnson or anything close, but feel free to use me as a reference for any interested party should the need arise. < Scott Calabro > < USA > < NT3 >
  • Guitar has been delivered and is perfect — very well packed thank you. Have enjoyed plugging in and playing and love the sound (esp adding some decent reverb and a bit of dirt!). Bit of a change from a 6 string in terms of playing and have now ordered the Justin Johnson DVD to help me get up to speed. Really enjoying it, thanks agan. < Ian Padgham > < Australia > <  NT3 >
  • Hi Dave, just letting you know the guitar has arrived, it is fabulous. I will send you a picture. Thank you for everything. < Helen Blomquist > < Australia > < Corvinho Custom >
  • I love my Blues Plank! I think the shape (body and headstock) is fantastic and I’m enjoying how instinctively you can play and open tune 3 string — less is more in this case! It’s important to me to have a locally made instrument so that side of it is great too. Thanks again and all the best for your business. < Gavin Rieschieck > < Australia > < NT3 custom >
  • She arrived today!!! I love her! Thanks again Dave I really appreciate it! Awesome guitar! (Second guitar bought from Little Crow). < Brad Bell > < USA > <  NT6 >

  • I received the guitar today and it is BEAUTIFUL! Thank you! Everything from the carve outs to the color and contrasts of the wood, to the two-stripe neck-through inlay, the weight and balance, and the finish, is just AMAZING. You are an artist.
When I went to pick it up at the delivery station, the clerk said “aren’t you going to open it?” I think she wanted to see it as much as me. She was floored as I opened it, as I was.
I don’t know when I might visit Australia (it’s on my bucket list), but when I do, I hope you don’t mind my dropping by to say hello and thanking you in person. < Mike Silver > < USA > < JJ NT6 custom >

  • The guitar arrived already . It looks absolutely gorgeous! < Eduard Tulp > < Netherlands > < NT3 custom >
  • Hi Dave, just wanted to let you know that the NT3 arrived safe and sound. Looks and feels great! I plugged it into a Marshall Code abd was surprised how “big” this little guitar sounds on so many of the amp’s presets. That little pickup really rocks. < Jay Nehrkorn > < USA > < NT3 >
